New Music Friday: BKTHERULA, Kaliii, Nettspend and BigXthaPlug Lead October 30

The pick this week is BKTHERULA's N5ON, a Warner Records album and, on paper, the biggest swing of the week. Behind it, Kaliii keeps it short, evilgiane and Slimesito run it back, Curren$y and Harry Fraud open a new album campaign, Nettspend drops a six-song EP, and BigXthaPlug brings a crowd. All six are out Friday, October 30.

BKTHERULA, N5ON

N5ON is 14 songs in 38 minutes, and the ℗ line on Apple Music reads "Warner Records, ℗ 2026 Warner Records Inc." The guests tell you where it's aimed. Whethan is on the opener, "I GO PUNK," Juicy J follows on "ACTIVATED," underscores turns up on "ADDICTED2U" and ¥en Diezel is on "JEVITAS." Apple files the album under Dance rather than Hip-Hop/Rap. Four of the 14 songs carry a guest, three of them in the first four tracks.

Two songs came out ahead of the album: "I GO PUNK" in May and "ADDICTED2U" in September. There's also a "BIG FEELING (N5ON MIX)" at track 13, and the album closes on "ALISHA," the longest song here at 4:03. My read: this is the release I'd put on first this week, starting with "ADDICTED2U."

Kaliii, Wit 3 iii's

Kaliii's EP is nine songs in about 21 minutes, and nothing on it runs past 3:09. The ℗ line on Apple Music reads "2026 Trump Card Productions." Tate Kobang and Zae Frances share the only guest spot, at track 7.

The lead single is "GIRLS WANT BOYS WHO STFU," first released in August and placed at track 4. The video went up on Kaliii's official YouTube channel that same month. An EP this lean puts most of the weight on the single, and the single has had two months to settle in.

evilgiane and Slimesito, EVILSLIME 2

EVILSLIME 2 was announced on Monday with "GEORGIA STATE," and the full tape is here: nine songs in 16 minutes, and no song runs past 2:01. Apple Music prints "2026 Surf Gang Records, under exclusive license to Decent Distribution," the same line as the first EVILSLIME. Apple credits every song to the pair, with no outside guests on the title line.

"GEORGIA STATE" opens the album. Its production credit, evilgiane and EERA, comes from the official upload on the SURF GANG channel. Sixteen minutes is a quick listen, and the tape doesn't ask for more of your time than that.

Curren$y, Rome Streetz and Harry Fraud, "The Telethon"

"The Telethon" is a single, 2:23, credited on Apple Music to Curren$y, Rome Streetz and Harry Fraud. The ℗ line reads "2026 Jet Life Recordings / SRFSCHL, LLC."

It's also track 3 on Off To The Races, the Curren$y and Harry Fraud album that Apple Music lists for November 6, at 10 songs. Wiz Khalifa, Fendi P, Bruiser Wolf and Jazzy appear on other title lines there. Rome Streetz isn't on any other title line on that tracklist, so this is the album's only Rome Streetz song. Putting it out a week early is a fair way to set the table.

Nettspend, Virginia Creeper

Nettspend announced this one on X on October 19 with "va creeper 10/30," per HotNewHipHop, and it arrived on Apple Music and Spotify as Virginia Creeper. It's six songs in just under 15 minutes, opening with "same language" and closing with "JSX." The longest song is "6weeks," at 3:32. The ℗ line reads "2026 Nettspend."

Six songs and 15 minutes is a short stop, and I'd treat it as one.

BigXthaPlug, BETTER OVER TIME

The BETTER OVER TIME guest list started with Ro$ama, and the final count on Spotify is nine guests across eight of the 18 songs:

"BELIEVE" is the only song with two guests. The other ten songs are BigXthaPlug alone, starting with the 50-second opener "STAND ON BUSINESS," so the guests get a little under half the album. With a list this wide, the guest songs are the draw.
