evilgiane and Slimesito Set EVILSLIME 2 for Friday With "Georgia State"

EVILSLIME 2 is out Friday. Here's who produced "Georgia State"

EVILSLIME 2, the follow-up to producer evilgiane and rapper Slimesito's 2024 project EVILSLIME, is out Friday, October 30. The lead single, "Georgia State," was produced by evilgiane and EERA, Stereogum reported on Monday. The tracklist and the label haven't been announced yet. We'll add both Friday, when the release pages go up.

Stereogum's headline calls EVILSLIME 2 a new album. Its story says only that the project is "out 10/30" and that "We don't have many details on the new release yet."

The "Georgia State" credits

No mixing or mastering engineer is named anywhere public yet, so I'm not naming one.

Stereogum's take on the sound: "it's a dark, minimalist track with lots of ominous low end, and it lets every syllable from Slimesito shine through."

Who's who

Stereogum describes evilgiane as "the influential Brooklyn rap producer and Surf Gang ringleader" and Slimesito as a "Maryland rapper." Those are Stereogum's descriptions, and the pairing goes back two years.

On the production side, evilgiane hasn't been quiet in 2026. His album Giane 2 came out January 14 with nine tracks. Apple lists Rue Jacobs alongside him on "aerial passing" and Clams Casino on the closer, "poker," and the other seven carry his name alone. Apple lists the album as "℗ 2026 Surf Gang Records, under exclusive license to Decent Distribution." That's the same line the first EVILSLIME carries. It doesn't tell us who's releasing EVILSLIME 2, and I'm not assuming it does. Friday's listing will settle it.

What the 2024 original was

The quick version, for anyone who missed it:

The rollout is tighter this time. "DESIGNER DRUGZ" arrived two weeks before the first tape, while "Georgia State" landed four days before EVILSLIME 2. That leaves one song to judge the new project by until Friday, and only two producer names to go on.

What we don't know yet

The tracklist, the label, the cover art, any features and any other producers on EVILSLIME 2 are all unannounced. No Apple Music, Spotify or Bandcamp page for the new project is up yet. I won't guess at any of it. This piece gets the tracklist and the label line Friday, and if more producers show up, they go in the credits list above.

My read

Rap tapes built on one producer and one rapper live or die on the beat credits, and that's why "Georgia State" is worth a close look. It's a shared credit on a lead single, which tells you evilgiane isn't working alone on this one. Friday shows whether EERA turns up past track one and who else gets a production line.

That fine print carries extra weight in this corner of rap, where the production often makes the case for a record. It's what set OsamaSon's PSYKOTIC apart, and it's why fakemink engineering his own album mattered. Friday, the full credits sheet lands.
