Young Nudy 'Just Doin Me' Tracklist: 16 Songs With 21 Savage, JID and Fatt Smaxk
Young Nudy's Just Doin Me is out now, and it's 16 songs that run 54 minutes and 30 seconds, with three guests: 21 Savage, JID and Fatt Smaxk. The album arrived Wednesday, October 28, on Apple Music and Spotify. My read: this is a lean, mostly solo record, and the credits tell you more about how it was built than the guest list does.
If the count looks off on your app, it isn't a deluxe. Apple Music lists 19 entries and 1 hour 4 minutes, but entries 17 to 19 are music videos, not extra songs. More on that below.
Just Doin Me tracklist
Here is the full list in order, with runtimes from Apple Music. Every song carries an explicit tag.
- "Hits" (4:10)
- "Chicken Tender" (3:10)
- "Let Me Show You" (3:10)
- "Who Dat Is" (4:11)
- "Nonstop" (2:27)
- "Stars In My Car" featuring Fatt Smaxk (3:13)
- "Spinnin" featuring 21 Savage (3:44)
- "War" (3:09)
- "Spaghetti" (2:19)
- "FBGM" (3:58)
- "Broke Bitch" (3:00)
- "Ya Dig" (2:53)
- "Why Would I" (3:50)
- "Judy" featuring JID (3:11)
- "Vibe Out" (3:49)
- "Cream Pie" (4:11)
Nothing on the album runs past 4:11, and "Spaghetti" is the shortest at 2:19. Spotify has the same 16 songs and the same total, 54 minutes 30 seconds.
Why Apple Music says 19 songs
Apple's album page reads "19 songs, 1 hour 4 minutes." The last three entries repeat titles from the main list: "Who Dat Is," "Broke Bitch" and "Ya Dig." Apple files all three as music videos, with their own video pages, such as the one for "Who Dat Is". Those three videos make up the gap between the 54 minute album and Apple's 1 hour 4 minute total.
So the album is 16 songs. If you're streaming on Apple, the last three entries are worth a look, since they're videos and you can watch them in the app.
The guests: 21 Savage, JID and Fatt Smaxk
Three songs out of 16 have a featured artist. Fatt Smaxk is on "Stars In My Car" at track 6. 21 Savage follows right after on "Spinnin" at track 7. JID comes in late, on "Judy" at track 14.
That leaves 13 songs with Nudy alone on the title line. For an artist who calls the album Just Doin Me, that ratio is the point, and I like that he didn't stack the deck. Even so, I'd start with a solo song, "Who Dat Is."
Who wrote Just Doin Me
Apple Music's public song credits list composers for every track, and they show who Nudy leaned on. One name is on all 16 songs: Quantavious Thomas, the name Nudy was born with, according to Rolling Stone. Apple prints it in full on every song.
Here's who shows up most next to him, per Apple Music:
- Edward Maclin Cooper III: four songs, "Chicken Tender," "Who Dat Is," "Nonstop" and "Spaghetti."
- Luke Beasley: three songs, "Let Me Show You," "FBGM" and "Judy."
- Ahmar Bailey: three songs, "Hits," "FBGM" and "Ya Dig."
- Jonas Tyler Lee: "Let Me Show You" and "War," plus a Jonas Lee credit on "Ya Dig."
"Hits," the opener, has the longest list, six writers. "Spinnin" credits Huston J. Starks, Quantavious Thomas and Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph. "Stars In My Car" lists Bernard Banks and Kilo Beats with Thomas. "Judy" credits only Luke Beasley and Thomas.
These are songwriting credits, not production credits. Apple's public pages don't list producers, so I'm not naming any here until an official credit does.
An early look: "Who Dat Is"
"Who Dat Is" arrived ahead of the album. The official video went up on Young Nudy's YouTube channel on October 9, and AllHipHop reported the October 28 album date two days later. It sits at track 4, and it's one of the songs with Edward Maclin Cooper III in the writing credits.

Where it lands this week
Nudy, who grew up in East Atlanta per Rolling Stone, put this out on a Wednesday, ahead of a busy stretch. evilgiane and Slimesito have EVILSLIME 2 due Friday, and Lil Baby's FRESH follows on November 6.
My take: Just Doin Me reads like an album made on Nudy's terms. It's 16 songs, three guests, and his name on every writing credit. Whether it hits for you is a listening question, and the Spotify embed above has all 16 songs.
Verdict: a lean, mostly solo Young Nudy album whose credits make the title literal. Start with: "Who Dat Is".
