U2 Tour 2027: Every Carnaval De Luz Date So Far and How the Presale Works

U2 play 12 European and U.K. stadium shows from April 26 to July 6, 2027, with Wolf Alice opening, and the artist presale signup closes Sunday, November 1 at 10:59 PM GMT, which is 5:59 PM ET. Live Nation announced the leg on October 29, 2026. The full name is Carnaval De Luz presents: The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour. It is the band's first stadium run since The Joshua Tree Tour ended in Mumbai on December 15, 2019, per the release.

All 12 shows have Wolf Alice as support. These dates and venues are from the tour page on U2.com:

Spain is still to be announced. So is Ireland. In U2.com's announcement, The Edge says the band will be "wrapping it up in Ireland," adding: "There's nowhere else we'd want to be for that party." The same post says plans for 2028 are already in the works.

Latin America dates with Beck

The tour starts in Latin America, with Beck as support. Live Nation says the first run sold out, and the release lists March 2, March 16 and March 27 as new dates added for demand:

How the U2 presale works

All times are local to each show, per U2.com and Live Nation:

  1. Monday, November 2, 10 AM: U2.com subscriber presale, Feedback Group.
  2. Tuesday, November 3, 10 AM: U2.com subscriber presale, The Hype Group. Both subscriber presales close Wednesday, November 4 at 10 PM. U2.com says new subscribers join The Hype Group.
  3. Wednesday, November 4, 10 AM to 10 PM: Visa presale for EU and U.K. cardholders, while supply lasts.
  4. Thursday, November 5, 10 AM: U2 Artist Presale. Signup closes Sunday, November 1 at 10:59 PM GMT (11:59 PM CET). U2.com links one signup for Stockholm, Amsterdam, London and Berlin and a separate one for Paris and Milan.
  5. Friday, November 6, 10 AM: general on-sale.

Lisbon is not part of the Artist Presale. Live Nation Portugal runs its own presale for that show on November 5 from 10 AM to 10 PM, with signup on its site by November 3 at 1 PM Lisbon time, Diário de Notícias reports. One catch for U.S. readers: the GMT cutoff falls after American clocks go back an hour on November 1, so it is 5:59 PM ET, not 6:59.

North America is not on the list yet

There are no North American dates yet. Live Nation says they will be announced "in the coming weeks." Until then, the 2027 rock dates on sale in North America belong to acts like Meshuggah and The Flaming Lips.

The album behind the tour

Carnaval De Luz is out November 13, 2026, on Island Records, with 12 songs, per Apple Music. Jacknife Lee produced it, according to Live Nation. "The Greatest Show On Earth," co-written by U2 and Brian Eno, is the third single, after "Street Of Dreams" and "Silencio." Apple dates it to October 15. The album closes with "Torn," featuring Dolly Parton.

The band's own pitch for the shows is plain enough. "Because if people are gonna show up, we certainly are," the four members say in the release. Twelve stadium shows in Europe is a statement. The real test is a North American leg nobody can buy yet.
