Yung Maaly is quickly making a name for himself in Washington D.C. He has been consistent with his musical output for over a year now. Moreover, racking up more fans and followers one video at a time demonstrating the perseverance you have to have to make it as a rapper.
Today, he is back with his new mixtape Straight Out Da South which is the best and most versatile release yet. Maaly’s hard work and dedication to making music is obvious. He has shown much improvement as an artist in the last year. Although it is large, his track-list is still coherent.
He only recruited two features for the project, one coming from SSG Splurge titled “Splurge Flow 3,” who I have thought would go crazy on a DC-instrumental for a while now, as well as Atlanta underground staple Slimesito called “Stick to the Code” who has been showing a ton of love to the entire DMV-area since being released from jail earlier this year. We are looking forward to hearing more music from YungMaaly in the future. Lastly, we hope that the Barry Farms artist can stay consistent. Unfortunately, he comes from a city with so much hate.
