Up and coming recording artist Anweezy just dropped off his newest single, “Investments.” Produced by Blackbeard Beats, it sees the Northern Virginian rapper celebrating financial elevation among other things. On the final verse, Anweezy raps “big money investments, we bringing them checks in.”
The single art, designed by Jitta On The Track, takes inspiration from the popular board game Monopoly. Throughout the game players buy and trade properties, collecting rent from each other until the last player is driven to bankruptcy. However, the cover sees Mr. Monopoly breaking the traditional “house rules” of the game, by robbing the bank! This is a reference to Anweezy‘s uncustomary emergence into hip-hop.
