Lil Wayne is directly responsible for the careers of Tyga, Drake and Nicki Minaj, who are all signed under the Young Money imprint. He released six albums and seven mixtapes, all while maintaining his status as the most featured artist from 2004 to 2010, making him the most prolific act in Hip-Hop for that time period.
Tyga pays respect to his mentor in his newest visual, “Lightskin Lil Wayne”. Tyga & Arrad co-directed it and recreated some of Wayne’s most popular videos. The video transitions from recreated scenes of hits like “A Milli”, “Fireman”, “Go DJ”, “Lollipop”, and “Hustler Musik/Money On My Mind”.
