Torchh is Newark, New Jersey’s next up-and-coming act. His tough upbringing made him an extremely hardened individual. Over time, growing up, he became interested in rapping after listening to G Herbo. Although he grew up on the east coast, he gained a lot of inspiration from the top rappers in the midwest scene. His newest single, “Walk Down” with Glizzy Gang, shows how heavy his word is where he is from. The talented fast riser teamed up with his whole neighborhood to flex the New Jersey drill sound. The song is a heater, to say the least.
After growing up around gunshots, dope fiends, and much more, he knew he had to make it out. Growing up with his 2 sisters and no father makes it even more important to change his environment. Basketball was a goal at first, but when he saw how tough the streets were, he wanted to focus on other things. He looks forward to dropping songs with Meek Mill, Polo G, and Lil Baby in the future. He is ready to grow as an artist now. Songs like this new one will lead him in the right direction.
