Tony Da Kidd Drops Off New Project ‘And Beyond’

Tony Da Kidd is a South Carolina-born, LA resident. Lately, he has been spitting rhymes that freely express his pains and his struggles in a bid to show people a better way. Losing many friends and family to the temptations of the streets, he has witnessed the low side of life in all its forms and still manages to dream big.

“Being raised by a single mom, I saw my mom struggle. Luckily, she always made sure I was good,” Tony Da Kidd said in a recent interview. “That’s why most of my songs are about struggle or pain, it’s because I’ve witnessed so much. I lost friends and family to the streets, that’s life.”

Inspired by some of the biggest names in the game including 50 Cent, J. Cole, Meek Mill, Kendrick Lamar, and Big Krit, he got his first taste of fame in Japan in 2014. Dropping a track that did so well that he started to get gigs in the land of the rising sun, he was determined to pursue a career in music and put the accelerator to the floor.

Tony Da Kidd Is Not Letting Up This Year

Taking the time to perfect his rap style, he truly burst onto the scene in 2019. This was with tracks ‘Off The Wall’ and ‘Feeling A Way’ and then cemented his place as a rapper to be reckoned with by releasing further hits in 2021. Producing low down soul and melodic trips told through the lens of Hip-Hop, Tony Da Kidd is delivering wickedly tight lyrics for the world we live in today.

‘And Beyond’ shows Tony Da Kidd is proving that he is a standout artist for future generations. Dripping talent from every hook he creates; he is one artist that can take us to a brilliant new horizon… and beyond.

“It’s about me, my feelings, and other emotions that people can relate to,” he says. “I put a little bit of everything on this tape for everyone. It’s about life and the way we feel, how we move, and why we do the things we do.”
