Teyana Taylor and husband Iman Shumpert get romantic and candid in their latest single, “Wake Up Love.” The record is the R&B singer’s second single from her forthcoming LP, The Album, dropping later this month, according to her Instagram.
Widely known as a professional NBA player, “Wake Up Love” has Iman Shumpert showing off his rap skills yet again. Going by the name IMAN, he comes through as the featured artist on the track. In his verse, he raps about how their never-ending love for each other will always outweigh whatever hard times they may face throughout their relationship.
In the music video, Teyana Taylor and Iman play on-screen love interests. Nestled in a bright, cloud-like landscape, the couple spends some quality time as Taylor’s lyrics motion for her beloved to please her in the morning.
The video ends with the couples four-year-old daughter, Junie making a surprise appearance.She hops into scenes last few frames to hug and kiss her mother, who then reveals the growing baby bump.
