Smokin’ Grooves, the hip-hop and neo-soul festival, is relocating for its 2022 return. Moving to a new home in downtown Los Angeles for its comeback, on March 19th, the neo-soul-focused Smokin Grooves festival will return at a new venue for the event, LA State Historic Park. The one-day festival will feature an impressive lineup of performers consisting of nearly 40 acts on the bill.

In 1996, Smokin’ Grooves, the first large-scale hip-hop festival, traveled across the country to more than 30 cities. Bringing hip-hop to a large number of fans. The original festival lasted only three years, with a brief return in 2002 for a shorter version of the festival. It was resurrected at the Queen Mary in Long Beach in 2018 and2019, before moving to the State Historic Park.
