After 25 years in the music industry, Sha Money XL has decided to return to his roots: producing. In his latest release, he teams up with newcomer Sandy Benjamin for “Too Many”. The track is from the project Chain on the Bike which was put together by Sha Money with a handpicked selection of artists.
The single is melodic, yet gritty, and it is the perfect place for Sandy to declare his intent to rise to the top in his own unique way. The video pays homage to some of the greats such as Tupac and Madonna and alludes to notable figures like Johnny Cochrane and OJ Simpson. It’s clear that Sandy Benjamin is both a true lyricist and a future hitmaker.
“Too Many” is a one-of-a-kind single, bridging the gap between vet and newcomer; taking advantage of the sounds created by Sha Money XL in the early 2000s and Sandy Benjamin’s own modern style. Both of these artists are clearly gearing up for an impactful 2021.
