Senior Releases Ostrogoth, Pt. 1 Featuring Lil Baby, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, YK Osiris, and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie

In the music industry, one of the best ways to showcase your art is by collaborating with other musical artists. James William Awad, professionally known in the industry as Senior, is doing just that with his third studio album release, Ostrogoth, Pt. 1, produced by one of the world’s top record producers, ATL Jacob. The album, released August 5, 2022, includes “Come Up” featuring Lil Baby (245k listeners on Spotify), “She’s Like” featuring YK Osiris (5k listeners on Spotify), “CEO” featuring Gucci Mane (81k listeners on Spotify), “Patrona” featuring Rick Ross (42k listeners on Spotify), and “Judge Me” featuring A Boogie Wit da Hoodie (209k listeners on Spotify).

Senior’s inspiration for Ostrogoth, Pt. 1, stems from an incident that occurred earlier this year. He and a group of passengers were partying on a plane to Mexico, and the Canadian Prime Minister referred to the group as “Ostrogoths.” The Ostrogoths were one of the two great Gothic kingdoms within the Roman Empire. Known, in general, as “Goths,” the Ostrogoths (East) and Visigoths (West) were considered to be the most powerful and organized groups of barbarians during their time period. From the comment to the creation and release of the album, Senior has proven that he won’t stop until he sets the music industry ablaze with his songs which showcase his talent and art.

Fueled by the words of the Prime Minister, Senior put together a 15-track album, which includes the track “Ostrogoth”, with almost 3k listeners on Spotify. The track, also inspired by the party on the plane to Mexico, speaks of the Prime Minister and the airline by name:

“Hey, hey

Last time I threw a party, Sunwing’s blowing money fast

And how you know

Is when you find out Trudeau calling me an Ostro-goat.”

With the success of Ostrogoth, Pt. 1, Senior is already working on his next album, Ostrogoth, Pt. 2, which will feature Gunna, Lil Keed, Nav, and 42 Dugg, and has already been recorded. The collaborations on his album allow him to bring his music to more fans around the world, giving them a chance to experience his unique style.

Since its release, Ostrogoth, Pt. 1 has been gaining momentum on Spotify, with 338k listeners in only 10 days. Fans of Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Lil Baby, YK Osiris, and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie have discovered Senior and are experiencing his art through high-quality recordings and features. Through his album, he is sending the message that he won’t back down from pursuing his dreams and will use real-life experiences as inspiration to grow as an artist and achieve great things.
