Scilence Is Leaving her Mark with the release of her track “Vegas”

Today at Kazi we have the absolute pleasure of covering an artist that we’ve had our eye on for some time now. Sidney Branch, professionally known as Scilence has made waves in the music scene like none other. Whether you’re from Washington D.C or Los Angeles, CA, there’s no doubt you’ve heard the name before.
We look for the most unique sounds in the industry. After discovering the aggressive, yet the authentic sound of Scilence’s hit single mixed and mastered herself called “Vegas”, we certainly came to the conclusion that we found an artist who has just what we are looking for!

This song is about being in Vegas and all the excitement. In the beginning, she says the word “solo” several times, Which she is actually referring to a red solo party cup. So this song is about drinking. Her whole artist persona is about red party cup drinking and psychedelic drugs. In the video, you can see that she wakes up in the Bellagio hotel and you get a glimpse of the Bellagio fountains.

When diving into Scilence’s work, you can expect to find stories of psychedelic experiences, intuitive inner-speakings based on personal life experiences, and the struggles of trying to make it as an upcoming artist. What we hear from Scilence is quality, but also very sincere. I think we can all agree that such a thing is a rarity in today’s industry, no matter the genre. Luckily, following her story that speaks on the daily grind as an independent artist, we’re able to see the realness of what Scilence has to offer to the hip-hop community.

If you’re looking for a new artist to listen to that can easily weave between your favorite genres of music, then you should definitely check out Scilence on all streaming platforms! Listen to her hit single “Vegas” with the link below!Video Link:
