Ry Wittmore Is Leading Into The Launch Of ‘HI RY‘
He began playing trumpet in Ska bands in middle school and later joined a garage punk band that never left the garage. Growing up in Chesterfield, his life consisted primarily of music and skateboarding.
“Music was the only thing that made sense…” Ry says.
Unfortunately, music caused conflict in his family early on because his parents did not see it as a viable career path. He was put off diving deep. However, after college, his world expanded and he was able to fully embrace his artistry. Ry Wittmore would frequently be featured in open mics and perform for parties while living near Virginia Beach at the time. As a result, these opportunities allowed him to meet some of the creatives he works with today.

Ry Wittmore and his music evolves, but he always focuses on melodic songwriting and blending in his diverse musical influences. Ringing in the new year right, he is gearing up to release his debut EP, HI RY set to arrive on April 20th. The EP has a positive and energetic tone that is ideal for getting your day started. When speaking on the significance of this year’s back to back releases, the young creative says:
“We’re energy pushers. I want to show the world that good people and good intentions still make things shake. There’s no big difference between me and the next artist, I just personally want this for me. I decided this is what I’m going to do with my life.”
Overall, Ry Wittmore is rising to the top so be sure to keep him on your radar. Furthermore, the raved record serves as the initial installment from Ry’s forthcoming exciting EP, which will be released later this year.
