Rubi Rose is firing up the summer with her new song, ‘Twork’. It’s the latest track since her 2020 EP ‘For the Streets‘. The new video comes just weeks after being included in the 2021 XXL Freshman Class; A list that highlights eminent rising hip-hop artists. This Eritrean sensation is well known for her song ‘Big Mouth’ which has racked up almost 70 million streams since its release in 2019, as well as her extraordinary sex appeal.

The Video
Rubi’s unique voice covers “Twork,” giving us high energy, bounce, and bad bitch vibes. She gives us a scene initially in a firefighters locker room and eventually twerks on top of a fire truck! She laces the video with a full Dalmatian do-up with the dog and Corvette to match. The wardrobe isn’t the only thing on fire in the new ‘Twork’ video. The hair in each scene grabs the viewer’s attention in agreement.
The HITCO artist’s catalog continues to expand with Twork’s release. Rubi will soon be dropping a whole mixtape! A debut release, might I add. She already has some prominent collaborations, including Future, Wiz Khalifa, Big Latto, Cuban Doll, NLE Choppa; and that’s just naming a few. The Atlanta rapper made an appearance in the internet-breaking video, “WAP” with Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion. Cardi B, is one of many entertainers that has encouraged Rubi to keep thriving and even complimented her raspy voice.
Having grown up in Kentucky with an Eritrean mother, Rubi grew up in a strict household that limited her exposure to certain ways of life. However, after moving to Atlanta her junior year of high school, the GSU-educated soaked up the culture, aesthetics, and music. Rubi is claiming her spot as the hip-hop artist she wants to be.
