RonnieMac is a rising Oakland talent who continues to elevate with every release. Although 2020 was a rough year for everyone, Ronnie still managed to deliver an EP for his fans in November titled “Mac Friday.” The project has since received positive feedback and continues to do numbers across all DSPs.
Looking to keep his momentum going, RonnieMac is already following up “Mac Friday” with another solid project. Titled “Stop Playin,” the EP comes laced with 6-tracks. Production credits include WoodOnDaBeat, Cloud Beatz and Machu Beatz. Here’s what Ronnie had to say about “Stop Playin”:
“This is my favorite project to date. I’m usually more humble when it comes to my music .. but on this one… I wanted to talk my s***! But also just having fun with it. Probably the most fun I’ve had recording a EP. Stop Playin with me!”
As for features, Ronnie only calls for Detroit-native Silent 313 for the quick-favorite, “Waldo.” And the duo wasted no time coming through with the accompanying visuals, shot by @YRfilms_.
“The video was shot in my City of Oakland.. I had my dawg [Silent 313] from Detroit pull up and it was a crazy day to say the least! But we were still able to get it done! Go run it up on my YouTube channel now!”
