Roddy Ricch Is Back With “Cut These Demons Off”

Compton’s Roddy Ricch has been selectively dropping music in 2019. We’ve heard the California rapper featured on DJ Mustard’s Perfect Ten project with the hit record “Ballin”. Ricch has also provided dope features for E-40, Rich The Kid and Marshmello. “Cut These Demons” is Roddy’s second single of the year following May’s “Out Tha Mud” .

The track features Chicago’s Sonic on the beat, joining Ricch once again after producing Feed Tha Streets II bangers “Area Codes”, “Faces” & “Can’t Express”. The Qasquiat shot visual finds Roddy taking a trip to Queens, New York’s Baisley projects. He flexes his jewelry, counts racks and posts up while wrestling inner demons.

Similar to much of his discography, “Cut These Demons Off” expresses sentiments about growing up in the ghetto and how that ultimately had an effect on his psyche. “I was sleeping in the projects going asleep to the sirens” Roddy Ricch harmonizes over the song’s hook. He also unashamedly speaks on getting rid of dead weight. “Cut these n*ggas off, cut these h*es off”.

Roddy Ricch’s inevitable debut project is one of the most anticipated projects of the year. The hype will only continue to grow with tracks like this and “Out Tha Mud”. Check out “Cut These Demons Off” below.
