Rihanna Is “Born Again” In ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’!

As recently reported… the Rihanna reign has returned! Although RiRi has put a stop to album talk with her Super Bowl LVII halftime performance, the “Lift Me Up” songstress is extending her ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ run with her “Born Again” track arriving at midnight!

RiRi made her musical comeback with the release of “Lift Me Up” from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack. Rihanna, Tems, Ludwig Göransson, and director Ryan Coogler collaborated on the emotional ballad. In fact, the trendy track serves as a tribute to the late Black Panther star, Chadwick Boseman. Fresh off its initial drop, “Lift Me Up” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart! Since, it sky rocketed up to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart.

The superstar’s long-awaited comeback track becomes her eighth chart-topper following her hiatus. Now, with Wakanda Forever releasing in theaters tomorrow — November 11th, we now know Rihanna double-dipped on the soundtrack.

In fact, it was revealed that Rihanna had two songs on the Wakanda Forever soundtrack: “Lift Me Up” and “Born Again”. The original soundtrack was not released to the public, but the second ballad has since been added in territories where it is already November 11th.

According to Genius, Göransson and The-Dream produced “Born Again,” which is just as lyrically evocative as “Lift Me Up”. Additionally, the upcoming release was written by The-Dream, who also penned the multifaceted musician turned billionaire entrepreneur’s 2007 hit “Umbrella”.

Stay tuned here at KAZI Magazine as “Born Again” by Rihanna will be released everywhere this Friday! Tune in at midnight on November 11th as it’ll accompany the highly anticipated film’s premiere!
