PRIZM is a highly accomplished and multidimensional artist, hailing from Canada. At the young age of 22, he has already established himself as a talented independent recording artist, producer, and model. His debut EP, “Eyes Wide Shut,” has served as a seminal moment in his career, and he continues to garner acclaim for his work as a founding member of the All Around or Not Around Movement.

This movement, which PRIZM spearheads, aims to inspire individuals to embrace a holistic approach to their creative pursuits, and not to limit themselves to one specific profession. This philosophy has been instrumental in his success, as evidenced by his sold-out debut show in Toronto.
PRIZM is a true force to be reckoned with, as he not only excels in the music industry but also dedicates time to his modeling career, resulting in a lead acting role in the upcoming Toronto-based short film “4.2” which is set to release in 2023. We eagerly anticipate the further evolution of PRIZM’s journey in the world of Arts & Entertainment.
We sat down with PRIZM back in September, and discussed a few key points about who he is, his music, and what his next moves are:
Q: Where are you from?
A: The same place as the Blue Jays.
Q: What was the inspiration behind your latest music video, “Tendencies?”
A: This song was inspired by a night of me being in some pretty dangerous circumstances and using my adventure for lust as a distraction from my position in life. You can see the song is a story, but really it’s a soap opera. A documentary, if you will.
Q: You just released your debut EP “Eyes Wide Shut.” How would you describe it in your own words?
A: Tampered by lust, a young 19-year-old PRIZM encapsulates you in his dramatic soap opera. Accompanied by Apollo, an up & coming producer, the two use audio aesthetics and a fair deal of ominous storytelling to reveal an episode of PRIZM’s young yet reckless life.
Q: How long have you been making music as of today?
A: I’ve been releasing music for about two years now, but I’m really just getting started. I was hesitant to put new music out at first because my sound is a bit hypnotic, but society looked like they were going through a hard time, so I decided to try and change the world.
Q: What are your next moves?
A: I just wrapped up a short film that will premiere in 2023. Touching on an illuminated topic, I’m releasing a tape this fall/winter named “The One.” It’s a brand new genre of music. I don’t know what to call it yet, so I might need your help on that. Overall, however, I believe that the All Around or Not Around movement is the future of Toronto and soon you’ll all see.
Q: What is your favourite line in your song Tendencies?
A: “Your body droppin’ on me, I was focused on me. You take me down where I sleep.” I love it because I feel as though it represents modern-age dating and can be viewed as relatable.
Q: You have a fantastic fashion sense; tell us about your favourite brands.
A: Damn, thank you. Nowadays, I don’t really dress to impress, I just dress to represent how I’m feeling. I’ve been in a lot of archive avant lately though, and definitely sporting a lot of All Around, Acne, Moncler knitwear and PC Fit for any athletic clothing, however.
Q: You seem to have a very inspired following. Who are some of your role models?
A: If I’m being honest, Nikola Tesla, myself, and Jesus himself.
