Not letting up for anything in 2023, is none other than trailblazing talent Not3s. The globally renowned UK artist recently released his new EP Kiss Don’t Tell setting the tone for a year full of raved releases.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, his latest offering aims to spread Valentine’s love to the souls and ears of those in need of a special someone this month. Kiss Don’t Tell showcases Not3’s 2023 sonic direction. His distinct style and flow shine through in the three-track project, stacked with a slew of serenading soundscapes. It also hints at the harmonically brilliant and signature touch he has in store for a flood of chart-topping singles.
The Hackney, East London-bred rhymer, abandoned an academic career in favor of music. In doing so, he rapidly rose from online obscurity to being signed by a major label in a relatively short period of time. With the arrival of his 2017 “Addison Lee”, Not3s pushed the sound of Afro-basement to a new level. Drawing inspiration not only from his underground grime scene, but from his Nigerian heritage as well. As a result, the label re-released the record as Not3s’ debut single shortly after.
