When it comes to putting all of his pain and motivation into music, new artist, Nochildhood is not one to shy away from that!
Music has always been in the veins of emerging artist Nochildhood. He initially recorded his first record at the age of 14 in a friend’s basement although he started making music at 10. Not being able to talk about many of his experiences growing up he found that rapping about it was a way to talk about the things he went through and is still going through. He quickly realized that music is what he truly wanted to do and that music was his way out while he was locked up and he quickly got serious about pursuing music.
“I had nobody to talk about my pain to so I started putting it in my music.” He states.
His stage name was coined from growing up with almost no childhood due to being raised alongside his twin brother by a single mother, no father figure, and ending up in the streets resulting in him being incarcerated at the age of 14. He then decided to take on the name Nochildhood during his time in prison.
Heavily motivated by his mom for never giving up on him and musically inspired by Toosii, Kur, and Tupac, Nochildhood has set goals to be a legend and make an impact that he can on the youth. His music is heavily influenced by Hip-Hop & R&B. When it comes to creating his lane on standing out he is dedicated to staying consistent with the grind. Writing all of his music and collaborating with his producer, AV, Nochildhood last released an EP called ‘Scars’ in 2021 and is currently working on another EP, ‘The Decision Is Yours.’ This is far from it though, with multiple music videos for his tracks, “Stories/Therapy”, which features two songs in one, “Deadman” which features Tr3skii, and “Loyalty” all dropping soon and some staying “a surprise so they don’t have a date.” Nochildhood told us.
Through his music, he wishes to make an impact on everyone, especially younger kids and people his age by letting them know that dreams really do come true but you have to keep having faith and pushing regardless of how hard things get.
