East Harlem’s Neek Bucks has been putting in work for quite a while and now Neek is reaping the fruits of his labor.
2019 has been huge for Neek Bucks, already having his song “Energy” with Chicago’s Lil Durk reach a million views and counting on YouTube, Neek drops the second installment of his “El Barrio” project which dropped last year in 2018. On El Barrio 2, Neek attacks the project on his own with no features.
On El Barrio 2, Neek vividly paints a picture of life in East Harlem (also referred to as El Barrio). Throughout the entire project, Neek spits with a hunger aimed to wake all the doubters up. Neek Bucks sound also continues to evolve on this project as he infuses more melody with his bars which can especially be heard on tracks like “Crackhouse” “Still Here” and “24 Hours”.
