Mulaarie Turns Pain Into Profit On “Hustlers Logik”

Upcoming West Philadelphia artist Mulaarie recently released a visual for his latest single “Hustlers Logik”. Directed by Peter Parkkerr, the video shows a more personal side to Mulaarie’s life. There are flashes of some tragic losses he has witnessed and lived through.

Mulaarie channels his inner pain on the track. Specifically, he reminisces on losing his father and brother just six months apart to the Philadelphia streets. However, Mulaarie aims to turn a negative into a positive by putting his life story into his music. He conveys the message of a young man in the ghetto dealing with deaths that hit close to home. A narrative like many of his contemporaries.

On “Hustlers Logik”, Mulaarie spits extensively on turning pain into profit. For example, there is a scene in the visual where Mulaarie takes a large duffle bag of money to a luxury car dealership. He leaves a drop-top Rolls Royce.

Mulaarie’s raw depiction of street tales mixed with his raspy voice and uncanny flow has endeared him to those who can relate to his struggle. The authentic West Philly rapper has already made music with Hip-Hop legends Styles P and Beanie Sigel. Though we’re still awaiting a debut project from Mulaarie, in the meantime check out the “Hustler’s Logik” visual below.
