Lucianne Leaves Fans Speechless With Trendy Track, “Te Amo”

Lucianne formerly known as Luci Monet returns with her most recent release titled, “Te Amo”. Following the recent success of her raving record “More”, Lucianne ushered in a new era and has since surpassed one million online plays and counting! Now with the reveal of her recent release, the plays are going to skyrocket!

This time, the British Nigerian singer- songwriter, and actress arrives with another afro R&B masterpiece titled, “Te Amo”. The trendy track continues to tease her upcoming comeback EP, Becoming. Additionally, the Majeek-produced track was penned and composed by the sultry songstress herself.

The sonically sultry “Te Amo” expands on the love and relationship themes that Lucianne began exploring on “More”. The East London native opens up about a more vulnerable phase in relationships and expresses defiance in the face of her lover not respecting her worth. Lucianne uses her relatable songwriting strength to tell a defiant tale of a woman in a relationship who will not settle for less than she deserves. She does so over the infectious R&B offering which fuses lush afrobeats, sensibilities and soundscapes.

Lucianne Talks “Te Amo” Inspiration

“‘Te Amo” is an anthem for women and plus it’s perfect for the summer. I want it to give women the strength, whenever they hear this song, to boldly recognize their worth and to fight for it. I think we have all been in situations where you meet someone, and that initial honeymoon phase is amazing, and you can’t get enough of them, but then comfortability kicks in, and they just aren’t acting right anymore. “Te Amo” is me basically screaming that if they ain’t loving you right, then they’ve got to go! Love me or leave me!

This sizzling star has been singing and performing since the tender age of 11. In fact, she even had a memorable stint on X-Factor UK as a teenager. She is highly recommended if you like the sounds of Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, or Ayra Starr. She first stepped on the UK afrobeats music scene a few years ago, with support from BBC 1Xtra and Soundcity TV. She then moved on to succeed as an actress in Nollywood, the world’s second largest film industry, with starring roles in Three Thieves (Netflix) and Dark Room, among others!

Earlier this year Lucianne returned to her first love — music with the release of “More”. Now she’s setting the tone with her follow up scorching single “Te Amo”! In addition to the new drop off, Lucianne accompanies the amazing audio with an official visualizer! Don’t believe me? Press play here at KAZI Magazine!
