Tropical vibes during the winter are always appreciated. It gives us a false hope that pools, beaches and fun are right around the corner, only to leave our house in bubble coats. So when Las Vegas artist, Impact RH recruited buzzing L.A. producer, Chucky Beatz for his newest single, “The Real Way”, I was intrigued… and I was not disappointed.
While Impact is without a doubt one of the better artists at cadence structuring, melodic progression and stuff like that, it’d be disrespectful to not acknowledge how tailor made this beat was for him. Chucky crafted just the type of tropical, groovy beat that first launched Impact into our ears with, “Boricua”, and then flipped it completely on it’s side. The genius in Impact is purely in how he approaches the record, leaving no room for criticism, as this is one of the better records of the year, regardless of genre.
