Kiva Richardson is an independent contemporary R&B artist on the rise, who was born in Atlanta but Memphis-bred. Today, she premieres on our page with her debut EP titled “Trending.” Featuring five tracks, the effort will most certainly have you singing along.
Aside from one guest appearance from Brandon Blvd on the opening track, Kiva uses the rest of the duration to showcase her impressive skill-set and why she, and the entire project is “trending.”

“I named the EP “Trending” because I knew people would resonate with the records based on their own perceptions and experiences. At the end of the day, we’re all human. We all go through different feels and emotions and that’s what “Trending” is all about. There’s something on there for everyone.”

Since it’s release, “Trending” has accumulated much success worldwide, such as debuting #1 on Ghana’s iTunes ‘Top Album’ chart — and #27 on their Apple Music album chart.
As for the states, the album charted #42 on iTunes US R&B ‘Top 100 Album’ chart — and continues to trend on digital streaming platform Audiomack as an R&B album. The lead single “Paradise,” was also placed on a season 2 of ‘BIGGER’ — a BET+ series.
