The new version of “Essence,” plus three additional tracks, will be on the Made In Lagos Deluxe album. Furthermore, it is set for release August 27 via Starboy/Sony Music International/RCA Records.
The original version of “Essence” continues to climb the Billboard Hot 100 and Global 200 charts. Moreover, it serves as the perfect musical accompaniment in various TikTok and Instagram clips. A-List icons like Kevin Hart, Doja Cat, Saweetie, Kylie Jenner, Michael B. Jordan, and Winnie Harlow have all used the track. Justin did a great job of letting the song rock and not doing too much.
