Joyner Lucas is back on our headlines! And no, unfortunately, it’s not because ADHD dropped. His latest work, “Broke and Stupid,” released with an accompanying visual, follows the controversial “Devils Work” and “ISIS” featuring Logic.
In the video, the Massachusetts emcee returns to his hometown to give back to his community. The feel-good track showcases his new barbershop, where he’s been providing free haircuts to the homeless. On top of that, Joyner is definitely not only inspiring people, but reflecting on his journey, or should I say joyney. At one point he can be seen throwing the opening pitch at Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox.
In tune with his ADHD motif, the track shows Joyner Lucas talking about his come up and how many people underestimated him, calling him slow, but now, those same people see him as a genius. Seeing him ride shotgun in a Lambo in the next scene definitely illustrates how far he’s come.
