Josh X Releases Hot New Afro-Beats Single & Visual “One Nightie

Josh X released his latest single titled “ONE NIGHTIE” with an accompanying video that is out now on all streaming platforms available HERE. The song was produced by Theodore Simon TJ DA Beatman“, and written by Josh X along with JordanUnotimeLindo.

ONE NIGHTIE is one of the many releases that you will hear in the coming months from JOSH X as he prepares to release new singles in anticipation for the release of “THE X PROJECT“, due later this year. The Boy Vano-directed music video for ONE NIGHTIE made its world premiere on BETJams, BET Soul, and more. The visual was inspired by Netflix’s psychological thriller hit series You.

About Josh X

Josh Xantus, professionally known as Josh X, was born in Brooklyn, New York City and raised by a single mother in Queens. He began playing classical piano at age six and composed his first song at age 13. He attended the summer program at the Juilliard School and after receiving a full college scholarship, graduated from Five Towns College in Long Island, NY.

While in Los Angeles in 2009, Josh X performed his single “First Time” for Stevie Wonder, who praised his work, telling him to “continue to carry out the legacy of being a musician that represents real music.”

In 2015, he co-wrote the track “Ready to Go” with Swizz Beatz for Pepsi and Fox hit series Empire and released his debut single “All for Love” featuring Jadakiss. That same year, he began writing and producing for rapper Cardi B, and collaborated on the tracks “Selfish“, “Island Girls“, and “Heaven on My Mind” the following year. 

Heaven on My Mind” ranked at No. 22 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs charts in January 2017. He continued working with Cardi B for three years. In 2018, Josh X released the single “All On Me” featuring Rick Ross. The music video received over 3.7 million views on YouTube.

He has also collaborated with Birdman, Lil Wayne, Jim Jones, Fivio Foreign and more.

In May, Josh X released the Afro-Caribbean-R&B tune, “KENBE SA” to rave reviews. The song was inspired by the fear of feeling that you’re losing the love of your life. All you want to do is hold on to them and bring that love back to you,” mentions Josh.

A few months back, JOSH X released the music video for the 420 Anthem, “HENNY & HIGHGRADE“. The song is a celebration of all things decadence and self-care over a bass-heavy, Hip-Hop inspired beat, Josh paints a vivid picture of the lifestyle his success has afforded him and those he cares for the most.
