Jooselord is an award-winning rapper from North Carolina. With acts like DaBaby, Morray, and J. Cole starting the year off hot, it’s only right the NC native keeps up. Award-winning NC rapper, Jooselord (@JooseLord) releases the visual for his latest track, “Quarantine“. The bar spitter did a lot of reflecting on the time the world spent in quarantine. He understands that the challenges while being in isolation were strong during the recent Coronavirus pandemic. Thankfully, the Pat Lincoln-directed music video was filmed at Raleighwood Studios for Torchhouse Media.
When asked about the inspiration behind The Chef-produced cut, the Durham natives states:
“I wrote this song about how it felt to be locked in during quarantine. It’s a song for people to vent about those feelings they felt.”

There was a time when there were no popular artists from any of the Carolinas. In a state known for good BBQ and sports, music never was the topic. Today, they have multiple chart topping emcees and Jooselord is looking to add his name in the ranks. Creatives like Toosii and the whole South Coast Music Group have set the tone for 2021. Let’s see what Joose does this year!
