Last Friday, J French ended a busy month with the release of his new single, “Cut You Off”. Featuring Dallas’ Yella Beezy, the self-produced track is now available on all digital streaming platforms.
The drop arrived only days after the premiere of his musical movie, One Point 5ive. The short film visualizes OGB 1.5, the remastering of French’s sophomore album, OGB, by Grammy Award-winning producer Jah Born (of Erykah Badu‘s official band RC & The Gritz).
The soft vocal sample, twerk-inspiring bass line, and classic hi-hat in “Cut You Off” did not go unappreciated. It brings some fun to the more serious side of J French and Yella Beezy playfully adds a little more country to the party.
