J.Cole Drops Gems On New Single, “Middle Child”

On Instagram earlier this week, J.Cole teased us with a “Middle Child” post. Today he released this new track produced by T Minus, possibly from his upcoming project, Revenge Of The Dreamers lll. As always J.Cole does not hesitate to push the envelope with his salient lyrics. Although in real life, Cole is not a middle child he used this term as metaphor to express his stance. He explained how he is like the “middle child” of different rap generations in hip hop.

“I’m dead in the middle of two generations/ I’m little bro and big bro all at once/ Just left the lab with young 21 Savage/ I’m bout to go and meet Jigga for lunch”.

He also references Drake, JAY-Z, Lebron James, 21 Savage and Kodak Black in the song.

“Just put the Rollie right back on my wrist this watch came from Drizzy, he gave me a gift. Back when the rap game was praying I’d diss they act like two legends cannot coexist. But I’d never beef with a nigga for nothing. If I smoke a rapper it’s gone be legit”. For his first release of 2019 J.Cole continues to exceed our expectations.
