Icewear Vezzo is a veteran in the rap game, but he’s working as if he’s a rookie. Although he has seen much success in previous years, this time around feels different. The former Motown Records signee is in rare form on his newest project Rich Off Pints 2. Furthermore, with 14 tracks and features from Future, Moneybagg Yo, and more, he’s solidifying himself as a hitmaker. The sample-heavy LP has some nostalgic moments that help you appreciate Vezzo’s deep knowledge of the greats before him. My personal favorite is the impressive Three 6 Mafia “Sippin’ On Some Sizzurp” flip, “Sippin” featuring fellow Motor City emcee Babyface Ray. The new ode to lean is directly brand for the self-proclaimed “DrankGod”.

Vezzo’s music has been great lately, but his mindset has helped me become more of a fan. All of his recent interviews feature a humble man who shows what is truly important to him. Icewear Vezzo is a man of principle, and his music is a strong reflection of that. Although he can talk choppy with the best of them, his love for his team is directly reflected in his recent successes. The Iced Up Records CEO never misses a chance to big up his wife, manager Chanel, or anyone else on his team. The second installment of Rich Off Pints is a dope sequel to a series shaping up to become a classic one. Records like the RMR-assisted “Hustle Hard” open fans up to the mind of the battle-tested rapper. Clocking in just under 40 minutes, R.O.P. 2 is perfect for any setting.
