The “Dopamine” Influence

As the lyrics suggest, ‘Dopamine’ is about regaining your energy and being able to celebrate life again. With the world finally emerging from the global pandemic of the last two years, the song resonates as a beautiful and positive message. When reflecting on the inspiration behind the record, Gina Jeanz goes on to say:

“This track particularly touches on mental health. I wanted to approach the production in a more uplifting/upbeat tone. Mostly because I felt that having this platform to produce music and express myself. While dealing with my own personal journey. It really carried me through. MOONGA K. who features on the track also expresses his own thoughts and feelings. After sharing our personal stories in the studio, we decided to work on ‘Dopamine’ and make it a celebratory track. In short, it’s about accepting the struggle. Knowing that it doesn’t define you, celebrating life and working towards overcoming one’s personal battles”.
