The last 12 months have been extremely busy for multi-talented creative DJ FabreJay to say the least. He’s been making headlines for all the right reasons since the release of his catchy single “Birth” and launch of his Kure Music Group.
DJ FabreJay Blows Instagram Up With His Playlists
Fabrejay is a very private person, but he never loses an opportunity to keep his fans amused and informed. For instance, he used his Instagram stories recently to post 12 TIDAL songs that he’s currently listening to. Many fans have expressed their enthusiasm about DJ Fabrejay’s content, despite the fact that he rarely shares such content. Don’t worry if you skipped any of the stories, we’ve got you covered!
Kicking off the list was Chick Corea’s ‘Essentials’ playlist. Who in fact is recognized as one of jazz’s most talented and prolific pianist-composers. ‘All Eyez On Me’ came in second. On February13, this studio album turned 25, making for a great tribute. Unfortunately it was the last release by renown rapper 2Pac during his lifetime.
Also on the list was a track by Marc Anthony called “Parecen viernes.” The track is set to be the lead single off of his upcoming album titled, OPUS. Next, DJ Fabrejay shared ‘Amarillo,’ a song from J Balvin’s album Colores. Fabrejay has also been listening to Prince’s album ‘Originals,’ which was released exclusively on Tidal in 2019. It features original demo versions of songs Prince wrote for other artists.
What It Feels Like …
Keeping the momentum and staying current, FabreJay places the song “What It Feels Like” on the list. This hit is off of The Judas and the Black Messiah album. It features a long-awaited collaboration between the late rapper Nipsey Hussle and Jay-Z.
The list also contained the viral hip-hop anthem “Whoopty.” CJ dabbled in drill for the first time on this song, which quickly became a top-hit on every platform. Following was Frank Sinatra’s “Night and Day” single from his 1956 ‘A Swingin’ Affair’ album.
Fabrejay also shared the newly released ‘We Are Fine’ by British popstar Dua Lipa. Chris Brown and Young Thug’s mafia-inspired music video “City Girls” was also featured. El Fecho RD and You R’s famous remix track “Teteo” was also included on the DJ’s Instagram stories.
You’re All Caught Up
Now you’re caught up to 11 of the 12 songs he’s currently listening to. Here’s the best part — Fabrejay also included his own single, “Birth.” The producer, like everyone else, has been binge-listening to this track, and why not? It contains all of the elements that captivate the listener. Every major network, like Tidal, iTunes, and Spotify, has given “Birth” a well-deserved spotlight. He often posts stunning photos and videos of himself and his events to Instagram. For the first time ever he’s sharing such an intimate daily-life update with his fans.
On the work front, the multi-hyphenated DJ, entrepreneur, CEO & founder of Kure Music Group is the official DJ for Jay-Z’s 40/40 club in NYC. Fabrejay’s high-energy packed performances are known to make any high-profile event and packed concert lit.
He has been the top choice of prominent brands, world leaders and top artists alike, including Barack Obama, Beyoncé, Jonas Brothers, Rihanna, H&M, Sephora and many more. Now you can be too! Stay tuned here on KAZI Magazine for more about DJ FabreJay!
