Representing Toronto, rapper EverythingOShauN has been building a formidable catalog over the past few years. Moreover, his consistency landed the upstart on Spotify playlists like “Northern Bars” and official stages such as A3C. Continuing his streak, ShauN wants to keep it going with new music. Back in February, he dropped “Lowry,” but it’s time for something new.
Today, EverythingOShauN unveils a lavish video for his single “Making the Band.” Dedicated to the hip-hop mogul Diddy, it perfectly explores the influence of dollar bills and dance moves. Not only that, but Toronto dancers Prempz, Karo Jasper, and Michelle Asiamah make an appearance. Elsewhere, CREEPS store owner Cynthia also makes a cameo. “Making The Band” closes to be an overall great addition to the Toronto music scene.
“It was important to hook back up with fatty to shoot the video cause he’s always able to take a simple concept and make it come to life. Sometimes you jus gotta have fun wit it and get some dancers and let loose since this record had that type of vibe. How the video looks is literally how the shoot went. Just vibes all day till we came out with the finished product,” ShauN states.
