He is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has always been interested in music because his father is a producer. He has aspirations of becoming a music producer himself and working with famous musicians.
His greatest accomplishment—having people identify with the music he creates—is something to which all artists can relate. When asked how and where Dosk came to be known, he replied, “I was really DJing in Rome when they forced me to develop a DJ name and brand, so I just used my nickname growing up and haven’t altered it since.”
He advises the budding artist to follow his instincts and not be scared to try again. One must be certain of his or her motivations before focusing on their profession as an artist or DJ. One of the most valuable pieces of advice is to believe in oneself and learn from others.
He is also pleased with himself for starting something from scratch on his own. He takes pride in his failures as much as his growth since, without either, he wouldn’t be where he is now. Even though there is still much to be done, he is proud of how far he has come since the beginning.
