As promised, Drake dropped two new singles following the Raptor’s victory. The two single came in a package that he called “The Best In The World Pack.”
The two songs are “Omertá” and “Money in the Grave,” featuring Rick Ross. Omertá is a practice by the Italian mafia where members follow a code of silence. The song reflects this, as Drake maintains a calm demeanor, addressing Pusha T and his Forbes status, among other things.
The second track, “Money in the Grave” is much more aggressive and reunites the 6 God with his longtime collaborator Rick Ross. The response to this offering has been so intense that Drizzy and his team have actually decided to move forward and push it as an official single.
On top of all that, these new singles usher in the end of an era for Drake, as this is the first time his music has not been distributed under the Young Money/Cash Money imprint. In fact, “The Best In The World Pack” are the first songs to be released under Drake’s new imprint with Republic Records, Frozen Moments.
