Inland empire based DJCharlieCinco has just dropped off his latest release “Big Pressure.” Through this project, Charlie’s goal is to unify local artists from the Inland Empire and help them get more exposure. The project is just dropped on Valentine’s Day – February 14, 2023.
Get to know DJCharlieCinco
Charlie was raised by his grandmother in Los Angeles and he was introduced to many different generations of music growing up. In highschool, he was known as the guy who would make all the mixed CD’s for each party. It wasn’t until attending college that he decided to fully dedicate himself to a career as a DJ. Just like many 20 year olds, Charlie would spend a lot of time partying. One day, he felt that he was overdoing it. This is when he realized that instead of having to pay to get into certain parties, he could be the life of the party and become a DJ.
DJCharlieCinco describes his sound as the new urban, young sound. What ultimately inspired him to dedicate himself to music was the fact that he was able to bring a fresher and versatile sound to the music scene. His proudest moment of his career is becoming the official DJ for Young California, a collective of radio DJ’s across the whole state of California that come together and highlight what’s new, fly, young and fresh. He has also had the opportunity to spin on 99.1 FM iHeartRadio. Last but not least, he DJ’s at Power 106 radio station in Los Angeles.
Content creation and working with new artists
In his free time, Charlie is a gaming content creator. He has started up his own platform for music called The Aux Connect, where he brings exposure to the hottest and latest artists and music from the Inland Empire. He works with rising artists to bring attention to their music and creates custom DJ mixes for them. Aside from his newest release, DJCharlieCinco is planning on starting his own podcast series and is set to release more projects next year.
