Dallas native and star on the rise Devante Fieldsis coming off strong this year with a playful new video for “No Excuses”. Fields essentially plays a superstar version of himself trying to chase his love interest, played by Briana Lindsey. Briana continues to curve him, but he doesn’t let her off easily. By the end of the video, Fields gets the last laugh and sends her to the wrong party address.
“No Excuses” is a sexy smooth track and the video, directed by Jeff Adair, does not disappoint. The melodic Devante Fields creates a one-of-a-kind sound alongside Ricandthadeus, allowing Fields to fully showcase his talents as a singer, rapper, and entertainer. The artist is expected to drop more music this year as well as a full-length album. Until then we’ll just have to keep “No Excuses” on repeat.
