Lord reflects on his youth in relation to the money and success he’s amassed. He throws some jabs toward the oldheads too, still trappin’ or doing things he seems himself as above. Perhaps the song is the three artists surprised as how far they’ve come, or shocked at how stagnant other people are. Nonetheless, as the hook says, it’s their time to turn up.
Clintn Lord is coming off the release of project The Revenge Mixtape and adding a verse to Lil Surf‘s “Kylie Jenner.” The artist has been doing some modeling for Yeezy Season 3 and even appeared on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. With brother Saint Jhn having just inked a deal with Kareem ‘Biggs’ Burke‘s new venture Circle of Success Management, it’s quite possible Lord will be following behind elsewhere.
