Chief Will aka Wilson Anyanwu is easily one of the best visual producers of the last 5 years. Since 2016, the director has worked with industry mainstays like DJ Mustard, French Montana, Rich the Kid, Rubi Rose, and Pesoboy. Chief’s resume has grown exponentially in the past years. Chief Will is ready to stun the world this year.
Will grew up in the famed city of Crenshaw. Luckily, his parents were extremely present and help keep his head on straight. Chief Will looked to Kobe Bryant, Kenneth Wynn, and Spike Lee as some of the biggest influences in his career. His father’s leadership helped him maintain his great work ethic.
This structure and a relentless work ethic lead him to work with fellow Cali natives Nipsey Hussle and Mustard. The two connected on Instagram and had been going back and forth for some time before working together.

Chief understands that he will never have a moment like the time he met Nip and Mustard. “Nothing beats that night at the studio between Mustard and Nipsey,” he said. “Just being there first had to capture that was amazing. Mustard had been trying to connect with Nip for a minute and so for me to be there was just surreal timing.” Some moments just live forever. Will looks forward to creating more memories through his work.
