Chase Shakur is projected to be a household name in the near future. He is a young Alternative R&B artist from Atlanta, Georgia with a fresh sound and is an absolutely amazing talent!
During an interview with VoyageATL, Chase discussed the beginning of his journey on the road to becoming an artist,
“…I was introduced to music during this summer program when I was 13, being from around the area it was like everyone was doing music so I gave it a try and ended up falling in love with it. I started out rapping by going to underground cyphers around East Atlanta, trying to build the sound, and then during high school, I met my two best friends and started recording and writing for other artists and then I started singing and people loved it.”
Currently, Chase released his highly anticipated new EP titled It’ll Be Fine on Friday, June 24th, along with a visual for the lead single “Too Far Close,” directed by Khari McCloud. This is what we consider a great body of work from an artist that embodies the sound of the next generation.
