Thankfully, the Los Angeles-based R&B singer and songwriter Allyn has delivered the forthcoming EP’s fiery lead single and title track “Overthinking.” This is not her first rodeo. Allyn’s catalog has collaborations with Dom Kennedy, TDE’s Reason, and Cozz. Her Cali roots run deep and this upcoming project should serve as a reminder. Allyn did all of the writing on this specific track. “Overthinking” features production from multi-platinum producer ISM (Chris Brown, DaniLeigh, RMR). Secondly, ISM co-produced the track with GRAMMY-nominated producer Ric & Thadeus (Juice WRLD, Bad Bunny, Tierra Whack). “Overthinking” arrives months removed from the Sacramento-born artist’s string of singles in 2020, which include “Richie Rich,” “Tap In” featuring Mozzy, and more.
