Music was not only a passion, but an escape from hardships and the bullying Allison would experience by the other kids at school. The bullying hurt, but Allison Kane would not be defined by it. More focused and determined than ever to follow her dreams, Kane went to her school counselor. In doing so, she managed to successfully skip a year of high school and graduate her junior year. She had already been living on her own since the age of 16, when her mom remarried, so she was now ready to fully spread her wings.
Allison moved to New York with dreams of making it big, under the impression that this would be an easy task. However, life did it’s number. She quickly found herself out of money and homeless, but she would not accept defeat. Battling depression, waiting tables, hustling for her dreams, Allison could write a book on what it truly takes to climb the ladder to success. It is her consistency even in trying times that afforded her the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of Tay Money, Kodak Black and Kevin Gates; and just a year into going full throttle with her music career, Allison Kane is taking off.
