The decision to self-title her debut album, as revealed in a conversation with Cosmopolitan, embodies her desire to imprint her name and unique musical identity among her listeners. Her distinctive sound is a fusion of various styles and genres, blending R&B, pop, rap and jazz. This blend was inspired by the music that soundtracked her youth, allowing her to express herself uniquely into music form.
