Four announcements this week connect distinct music scenes: Kid Yugi's chart success in Italy, Leblanco's Antwerp-centered album, Corridos Ketamina's new Mexican-American project and a French-language single from Montreal singer Täbï Yösha. Each takes a different form, from an expanded rap album to a seven-song release and a new version of an existing song.

Kid Yugi: Post Mortem

Kid Yugi's Anche Gli Eroi Muoiono POST MORTEM is No. 1 on Italy's overall album chart and physical-formats chart, according to the November 6 announcement citing FIMI/NIQ. The release also reports "Sentire la Musica" at No. 1 on the singles chart.

The deluxe edition adds five new songs to Anche Gli Eroi Muoiono: "Stratos," "DISOBBEDIRE!," "Sentire la Musica," "Puglia Crime" and "Il mio posto nel Mondo." It is available through the official album link. A related original comic, Logos, places the rapper in a subterranean world where words can alter reality.

Leblanco: S.O.G

Leblanco brings the focus back to Antwerp's Kiel neighborhood on S.O.G. The album includes "Peter," "Was Machst Du" and "Ring d'Anvers," with the release describing a campaign that extends into the streets through flags, direct CD deliveries and neighborhood activations.

The announcement says Leblanco is distributing twelve gold records in the community that supported his rise. It places the new album after Amberes and emphasizes the relationship between the rapper, his masked public identity and the neighborhood at the center of the record.

Corridos Ketamina: Cktriz

Henny Fay and Nico Malva have released Cktriz, a seven-song project from their Pomona/Phoenix-based duo Corridos Ketamina. The November 6 release includes earlier singles "K Me Maten," "Modo Tarantino," "Felina" and "Ambient Wife."

The announcement places traditional corridos storytelling alongside the duo's alternative influences and experience growing up in the United States with immigrant parents. The remaining tracks are "Socorro," "Mémoire" and "Vibes Only." The duo will perform at Los Angeles' And Always Forever Festival on November 8.

Täbï Yösha: Red Flag in French

Täbï Yösha has released a French version of "Red Flag", first heard on her Pink Moon EP in June. The Montreal artist uses astrology as a framework for a relationship whose attraction obscures warning signs.

"I'm from the moon, and I meet many men who tell me they are from the sun," she says in the announcement. Pink Moon is nominated for Soul/R&B Album or EP at the upcoming GAMIQ Awards, following her first EP, True Colors, in 2023.
