KaMillion Wus Up: The Rap Sh!t Star Resets With a Shawntbeatz Single

KaMillion released "Wus Up" on October 9, 2026, per Apple Music, and it is her first new single since "In Here," the May 2026 record her team calls her "hit single." Produced by Shawntbeatz (credited as Shawn Taylor), it is what Audible Treats, her publicist, frames as the "official follow-up" and a step on the road to her next EP.

The single's ℗ line reads 2026 Pink Money Musiq / Broke. It comes in an explicit version and a clean one, and the explicit cut runs 1:52.

What KaMillion's team says Wus Up is

The clearest description comes from the Audible Treats release for "Wus Up", which frames it as a statement record rather than a soft return.

"With booming production by Shawntbeatz, 'Wus Up' is a bar-filled mission statement from the artist, who directly confronts triflers and cheats with schoolyard taunts and fierce pronouncements of her undying superiority," the release says.

It also says "the song is full of quotables" and singles out one line: "Go get your cousins? I got cousins, too!" That's the kind of line that travels on its own, and it tells you where her head is. She isn't asking for permission on this one.

Who made Wus Up

Audible Treats credits the beat to Shawntbeatz. Deezer's credits list KaMillion as a composer alongside Shawn Taylor and C. Bishop, which puts her pen on her own single.

There is also a visualizer for "Wus Up" on her own YouTube channel. The video's description credits Antonio Mincy for choreography, and Audible Treats bills it as the clip where she "enacts her revenge."

Why this is a reset single

"In Here" featuring C-Loc came out as a single on May 29, 2026, per Apple Music, on the same Pink Money Musiq / Broke ℗ line.

Audible Treats says "In Here" was built by "running roughshod over a sample of a capella R&B classic 'If I Ever Fall In Love' by Shai" and was "inspired by 'She In Here,' a Southern rap classic by No Limit affiliate and Baton Rouge hero Bigdawg C-Loc." That record leaned on two pieces of Southern and R&B memory at once. For "Wus Up," the release copy names no sample and Apple Music lists no featured guest. The only collaborator the release names is the producer.

That is what a reset looks like when it is done on purpose. After "In Here" introduced her through a flip of somebody else's classic, the next move is a solo record with nothing in front of her.

Where KaMillion comes from as an artist

If you only know her from one lane, the résumé is wider than you think. The background section of the Audible Treats release lists writing credits on songs by Rihanna, Trey Songz and Keke Palmer, and says she "won a Grammy for her contribution to 'Rather Be,' by H.E.R."

The same release says she was a personality on Love & Hip Hop Miami before her role as Mia on Rap Sh!t, the series from Issa Rae. Audible Treats describes Mia as "a single mother determined to succeed in the rap game to support her 4-year-old daughter," which is a role that asked her to play a rapper fighting for a shot while she was one.

Her Apple Music catalog shows how steady the solo work has been in 2026 alone:

Before that, she appeared alongside The Game on Pharaoh Loco's "The Light" in September 2025 and released the seven-song Enigma EP in 2023.

What comes next for KaMillion

Audible Treats calls "Wus Up" "the latest step on the road to her next EP." No title, tracklist or date for that project has been made public, so this is the record to sit with for now.

Where to listen to Wus Up

"Wus Up" is streaming now on Apple Music. My advice is to play it right after "In Here." One flips a Shai sample; the other rests on Shawntbeatz's production. That contrast is the reason to play them back to back.
