John Mackk and Mike Sherm have released "Belt 2 Ass," extending a Bay Area partnership that has already moved between records and live stages. The single leads Mackk's upcoming project Last Call, which the November 4 announcement places in early December.

The track arrives with a video directed by Mackk and Red Fox Productions. Its setup revolves around an oversized game of Twister, using a colorful, playful visual concept for the two rappers' latest collaboration.

From shared records to a joint project

Mackk and Sherm previously worked together on "Slow It Down (Remix)." The announcement says that recording has passed 25 million streams, making the new single a continuation of an established working relationship rather than an introduction.

Mackk also opened for Sherm on the nationwide 2026 Sherm Summer Tour. Their plans extend beyond this single: the release says the pair are preparing a joint project for 2027, although it does not announce a title or a specific release date for that collaboration.

For now, "Belt 2 Ass" belongs to Mackk's own forthcoming Last Call. The early-December window is the only timing supplied for that project, and no full tracklist accompanies the single announcement.

Two Northern California runs

The Oakland artist and producer released his Still Outside EP in September. His catalog also includes "Slow It Down," which the announcement identifies as recently certified Gold, and "Pose For Me." The release places those records alongside a broader run of West Coast collaborations.

Antioch-born Sherm, meanwhile, released Bang Broz with Fenix Flexin in April. His earlier catalog includes "Asshole" and "Baby," giving the new pairing a connection to both artists' separate bodies of work as well as their shared songs.

The immediate news is the single and video, with two future projects taking shape around them: Mackk's Last Call in early December and the duo's joint release planned for 2027. The announcement leaves the remaining details of both projects open.
